Guys any intel on this place? Looking at booking for July 20 but heard whispers that the guy that owns/runs it is a bit random. Apparently under the influence broke some boards of guests and wanted to fight guests?? 10 of us going so fact checking before we pay deposit??

Dont know if those rumours are true, first time ive heard that and would be surprised if true.

Maybe Luke the Aussie owner is a little rough around the edges, you know typical bra boy type lots of ink and charges, but he is generally friendly in the water and doesn't have a bad reputation.

Personally i have respect for him as not just in it for the money, he loves the wave out front and surfs it better than anyone, he spent a lot of time staying in the village there before he opened the place and speaks fluent Indo and gets on well with locals.

Luke is a top bloke, meet him years ago, as ID said he's spent a lot of time in the village and gone through some very hard yards
