Amazing how much more impressive the water view is than the front view.

The water view and front view are like seeing two different waves.

I watched Nathan Florence's blog and it showed what these guys go through to be n position for one of these days. It cuts between his go-pro which looks like a small duck dive to the beach shot and his ducking under 10 foot plus wash throughs.

You see Anthony Walsh in the impact zone after not making one taking a bunch on the head.

Yeah saw that vlog too. Something about that little go pro that just couldn’t do the size and seriousness justice. Would’ve been psycho and N-Flo is just giggling like a asylum escapee. He seems like a very happy young man, and why not?

Yes he seems to be able to remain calm where I would be thinking I am about to die.

Its interesting that its all Pipeline, Backdoor and OTW

If you take Ian Walshs 10 point wave the year he won at Jaws I wonder why that doesnt rate as a contender for wave of the winter. It was like a pipeline wave on steroids.

Is this restricted to those waves ?
