Hi Everyone.
Parking charges begin again at Pt Leo this weekend, and will be effective each weekend and Public holiday through to the summer school holidays where we charge every day. The cost is $4 per car per day, or buy a season sticker for $40 or transferable pass for $44 (unlimited entry for the car that it is on all the way through to the end of the Easter 2021
As I hope everybody now knows, we are public land that is entirely self funded, we manage and maintain 5 public toilets, parks, playgrounds, roads and rubbish. Our income comes from camping and parking fees and 100% of what we earn goes back into the park (and as with many businesses have had no income since April and the parking fees we will begin collecting this weekend will be incredibly helpful in our efforts to keep the park in good shape as we start to see an influx of people keen to get back outdoors after lockdown). We employ locals and especially try to give local kids a go on the ticket box collecting the parking fees, please treat them with respect.
If you have any concerns please don't hesitate to contact me at info@pointleo.com.
Thanks. Ranger Tony
