Ankle brace for surfing
Tried a ton of ankle braces and none worked a s well as taping. I just do a figure 8 wrap a few times and it lets me surf for hours pain free. I use the 38mm version of this one:

Yup, taping nice and tight is usually going to be best. If you have a good brace, you should do that to begin with and wear a brace over it.
Does anyone know of a good ankle brace for surfing?
I’m booked in for ankle surgery next year to correct lateral instability & clean out bone chips and a spur.
Finding that whilst taping is useful for land based activities - ie walking, it isn’t really helpful for surfing.
