80's surf clip?

Quick trivia...
There was a clip from a video (around the same vintage as Kong's Island and The Performers) which had surfing footage mixed in with Platoon style choppers bombing palm plantations. The track that accompanied it was U2 Pride. Anyone know where or what video it came off?
I've asked everyone I know and some - with no answers.
Would have been a little too young for the shrooms, so pretty sure the memory is legit.
