Yes. It is always smaller than everywhere else. And weaker. And less consistent. Some good shape though, of course, it is Indo after all. Can get crowded too. A few charters and camps there. Lots of crew who enjoy the smaller stuff and aren't after the "serious" stuff. Fun before adrenaline crew. 'Playful' is the key word. Same timing as per the rest of that area: May - Sept.

I am sure they are all fine Santos. Not my cup of tea so I will refrain from serious judgment. I think you should go for Resort Latitude Zero, Matt and Co. are highly experienced as they have also been skippers in Sumatra for a long time.
