The cams in the SW of WA,are still down. . . . About a MONTH now,no Cam access. . . . .
Was hoping the repair crew may have had a rush of blood after Easter,& decide to go get it sorted . . . .We all live in hope. . .swellnet was a primo service, hope it returns to that mantle soon. . .

Hi all, I've just joined up to say that the Yallingup camera isn't working, but I see you already know that. Hoping it will be back on line soon. Meantime, keep up the good work, looking at surf all around Australia is awesome!

Hi, am only getting still images when I try to view Surf Cam for Coffs Harbour. Correct time and date but only still images on usual video screen spot. Am running Vista 64 bit on Internet Explorer 8. Cannot see why we should have another problem...

heg Tuesday, 17 May 2011 at 03:42 am new

Yals cam has not been working for ages, it says 'stream not found'. I am really missing it, please fix it soon thanks.

thermalben Tuesday, 17 May 2011 at 03:48 am new

Yals cam is broken.. replacement being arranged.

We'll have an ETA on all pending sites (plus some new sites) in the next couple of days.

lockie Tuesday, 17 May 2011 at 09:23 pm new

BOWER camera hasnt been working for a while.....

thermalben Tuesday, 17 May 2011 at 09:41 pm new

Bower cam has been working perfectly every day for the last couple of months - I'm watching live vision right now. Can you email through a screen grab of what you're seeing to 9nfo@swellnet.com.au?

memlasurf Thursday, 19 May 2011 at 12:04 am new

I haven't been able to get onto any surf cams in vic forever. Mac OS 10.6.7. Browser take your pick.

thermalben Thursday, 19 May 2011 at 02:20 am new

This problem has been diagnosed previously memlasurf. We'll have ETAs on each location's return very soon.

memlasurf Friday, 20 May 2011 at 02:10 am new

What's up with Swellnet?

richoparker Sunday, 29 May 2011 at 12:02 am new

Hey, I am having trouble viewing Newcastle Surfcams. Just checked and Bondi Manly Shark Island Snapper etc etc all work. However Wollongong doesn't. Are you having problems with the Newcastle Cam. I am running Mac with OSX 10.6.3 (snow leopard) recently upgradedand wireless broadband. Since upgrading OSX haven't been able to view Newcastle cams. Not sure if this is coinicidence. Can you check it out for us and let me know if I need to do anything with my settings.

firewire Thursday, 2 Jun 2011 at 02:28 am new

I tried your disabling hardware accelleration for adobe but it didnt work.I am desperate.

thermalben Thursday, 2 Jun 2011 at 02:50 am new

Firewire - it definitely works (disabling hardware acceleration). What locations are you trying to look at? We're still experiencing some outages at the moment.

thermalben Thursday, 2 Jun 2011 at 02:53 am new

firewire - just saw your previous post re: WA cams. Yalls is offline due to broken hardware (to be replaced ASAP), and Scarb appears to have gone down yesterday in the stormy weather (will try to get someone to look at it ASAP).

tomarse - the Portsea outage is at our end and is on the list to be fixed.

svensenn Saturday, 4 Jun 2011 at 03:06 am new

bomber1000 Saturday, 18 Jun 2011 at 03:40 am new

Mollymook camera working again. Actually, I think it was my computer with problems, not the camera.

ryan-kannane Sunday, 19 Jun 2011 at 10:02 pm new

It says "Surf Cam Temporarily Offline" for knights beach. Anyone know why?

ryan-kannane Sunday, 19 Jun 2011 at 10:05 pm new

svensenn Monday, 27 Jun 2011 at 01:32 am new

there is still nothing going on in victoria?
is this going to be fixed soon or do i have to check the triggerbros homepage til the end of time?

geoff-from-geelong Monday, 27 Jun 2011 at 07:09 am new

Please can someone get a technician onto the camera's in Victoria. All else around the country is available for viewing yet not one of the camera's in Vic work. I know it is the middle of winter but surely this can be fixed as it has been for at least a week now. Very frustrating.....

redsands Monday, 11 Jul 2011 at 05:36 am new

Hi thought i'd let you know i am having difficulties viewing cams via chrome, great day of waves down here!!

Craig Monday, 11 Jul 2011 at 05:43 am new

Redsands, left click on the surfcam player, go into the settings and disable hardware acceleration. That should fix it.

malibumick Thursday, 14 Jul 2011 at 12:12 am new

Still no joy on the Yalls cam. Do we give up altogether?

leestrappa Friday, 15 Jul 2011 at 11:33 pm new

Hi. the surfcam for Southport isn't working.
Microsoft Windows XP
Professional 2002 version

powerglide Wednesday, 27 Jul 2011 at 04:47 am new

Narrabeen cam has been saying stream not found for at least week now. Going into settings and disabling hardware acceleration does not fix any other suggestions.

brett028 Thursday, 29 Mar 2012 at 08:23 am new

Hey, Can we check your surf cams on iphone4s?

Cheers.
