Interesting stuff
What actually is "creative science" by definition? I might have missed the definition in there somewhere.
I didn’t see a definition either. Googled it and not much success.
That’s why I’m asking. The general idea got me curious.
I suspect it means drawing conclusions on a process/phenomena etc. based on anecdotal evidence/belief/opinion or similar, is that what you're getting from it?
Just saw your note, blowin. I've honestly never heard of it
I think VL and Blowin' should settle it with a 'walk-off' like in Zoolander.
And you just happened to stumble across this website while researching this topic or was it the other way around?
This is becoming a bit of a habit with you blowin. Remember the obscure racist site you linked that portrayed a drunken fight, that ended in the death of a white guy at the hands of an indigenous man, as a hate crime. Ah good times.
You seem to spend a shit load of time on racist and conspiracy theory sites with zero credibility.
Linking spirituality and quantifiable science is just weird. It makes as much sense as playing football with a fishing rod, but hey you got a link up to a website that pushes crackpot theories.
I found that website whilst I was trying to learn about economics and stock markets. That’s it’s main purview and it’s got more credibility in that area than you do on the receiving end of the local glory hole ....which is a lot.
Acting like a cock on the internet is becoming a habit for yourself. I remember when you first turned up on Swellnet and your tampon kept falling out of your vagina because of all the insulting talk. Now listen to you. All hand wringing about threats when all you do is bring them upon yourself.
Seriously, if you’ve got nothing to add just fuck off. I’m not interested in anything you’ve got to say.
The white bloke killed with a cricket bat was murdered in a hate crime.
It’s a disservice to his pointless death if the truth isn’t acknowledged so that lessons can be learned. If that’s uncomfortable for you then maybe you’d better stick to reading New Idea.
I agree. No matter the 'colour' of the person or the manner or medium in which it was reported, the fact that the person was murdered while simply enjoying some family time diminishes his death to just another convenient statistic without acknowledging the gut-wrenching grief his family must experience to this day.
To trivialise the taking of another persons life as just a 'blue' when extreme violence is involved is ignorance at best, callous at worst.
Yeah I totally agree Zen, but the only news outlet reporting that it was a racially motivated, hate crime (that I could find) was that Australia news.net site. According to the report below, the conflict started due to theft of cold drinks from an esky and the cricket bat, both belonging to the victims family:
https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.news.com.au/news/second-man-charged/ne…
It's a terribly tragic situation, loss of life over a couple of drinks and a cricket bat. I really didn't want to enter into this conversation, but I think labelling a crime incorrectly, particularly in this context, fans flames unnecessarily.
Thank you Terminal.
The court case was widely reported by multiple commercial and public broadcasting media. That means court reporters actually listened to the evidence and the judge's verdict during the trial. Nobody, not the journos, lawyers, witnesses, or the judge had any hate crime angle. It's because the case was about a drunken arsehole killing another bloke over cold drinks.
But then young Blowin finds a shit racist website, written by an amateur, who was highly unlikely to be in court. It's "proof" of a hate crime Blowin thought, and then he started making stupid comments on Swellnet.
Stop it Blowin, you're just embarrassing yourself.
PS, "tampons" etc. You stay classy blowin.
A few years ago there was a murder at Queanbeyan where a servo attendant was slain and the murderer wrote IS for Islamic State, in the victims blood on a window. By all accounts it was a religious murder, the accused a follower of IS. That's how it was reported. But it wasn't the case at all, the guy was deranged, had no affiliation with Islamic State, and what people thought was the motive didn't even exist.
Blowin, dont talk about a disservice to someones death unless you know all the facts, and especially unless you know the family. You may be the one doing the disservice.
Big swell atm VL, where you been surfing or is it solely on the internet these days big boy? Never a mention about the waves and the crowds flocking from Geelong and Melbourne like over this last weekend.
Had a surf yesterday, and jagged a nice set wave as some flapper fell out of the sky and landed on the poor bloke he was dropping in on. Today it's wonky and small. Mate I don't go broadcasting when the waves are good. It's crowded enough already.
There was a few injuries yesterday with absolute kooks losing control of their boards, bailing, and running over people. What's with this new attitude of beginners thinking it's OK to paddle out to the most advanced breaks? WTF are these people thinking?
flappers and kooks dropping in at the most advanced spots allowing VL to score a good set wave from the shoulder .... me thinks more bullshit
The hate crime angle wasn’t reported in the msm because there is a consensus to prevent repercussions for the anti-white sentiment- however justified by the instigators after the history of dispossession and oppression - from gaining traction amongst the wider community.
Many small regional towns waver on the cusp of retaliatory action , even vigilante justice, during the ongoing mediation between the original inhabitants and those who came after first settlement. Media suppression is not always a bad thing as media reports can serve as provocation for revenge attacks . Just as when there is a terrorist attack by an Islamic extremist and the media downplays the intent and highlights the commonality between Australians and those innocent muslims. But when the attacks tend to murder then there should be a full and open accounting. No one is served by allowing race relations to fester to the point of homicide.
Just because the ABC doesn’t report the fact that there was a racial factor to the perpetrators motivation is by no means definitive proof that this didn’t occur. I’ve been led to believe by various sources including friends who live in the area and are familiar with the case and the victim that there was the usual racially based insults being brandished during the attack.
If you believe otherwise then prove it or shut your lips.
Anyway , I don’t want to go back to this discussion so I’d appreciate if you left it and myself alone. If you want to throw insults on the internet do it elsewhere. As I said , I can come down to Victoria and you can say them to my face . Failing that ....shut the fuck up.
You can think whatever you like GuySmiley. Care factor zero.
Not much of a shoulder on this point break with a straight ground swell.
Time to get out and enjoy this sunshine.
An addendum to the Larry Blair Pipe Master's video posted a few days ago. From Matt Warshaw:
"I was once again half-blinded by the shooting star brilliance of Larry Blair in 1978. I already knew that he won that Masters that season (and repeated in '79). I did not know that '78 was Blair's first-ever year on the North Shore, and Pipe was his first-ever contest in Hawaii. I knew that Blair, eight months earlier, won the '78 Coke. I did not know that 1) the Coke was his pro debut, and 2) he skipped all six events between the Coke and Pipe. In other words, Blair won the first two WCT events he entered."
"The hate crime angle wasn’t reported in the msm because there is a consensus to prevent repercussions for the anti-white sentiment"
Aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
So let me get this straight. According to you the fight wasn't about drinks in an esky. You know it was a hate crime because you have a mate, who heard from an uncle, who knew another guy, whose mum saw the situation.
According to you, it was a hate crime rather than a drunken fight and the police, the lawyers, the witnesses, the jurors, the media, the magistrate, and even the victim's family were all in on covering it up.
Fair dinkum, you talk a load of absolute shit Blowin.
I can remember when Larry Blair won the surfabout, there was all this talk about how Wayne Lynch got ripped off and Larry fluked it. So Larry goes to Hawaii and wins the Pipe Masters, something Wayne never did, and again there was all this talk about how he fluked it. So Larry enters the next year and wins it again. No more talk of fluking shit after that. The guys a legend. He also gave the trippiest post win interviews, would leave interviewers dumbfounded.
Have that Surfabout footage on VHS wild.Nat Young out the back with a microphone wrapped in plastic giving mid final interviews and Shaun Tomson running the commentary.Great waves and yes the winning speech was rad"I'll like to thank the judges you done a great job haha"
I've got the same tape stashed at home somewhere too.
The mid heat interview was a classic!
Larry chuckling to Nat "he's getting done by the big ones" about Wayne and other classic banter.
How good were the waves to boot.
It was a real "Tube riding tussle" taped it off of channel 9 world wide sports.Waves were cooking.
I was on the beach that day at manly watching Larry win that ....really good waves too for manly.....
Anybody who questions Larry Blairs surfing ability is a dead set kook.
Ha ha! Fraser, classic!
I'd forgotten that one even though i've been saying that for years.
Companion pieces. The indisputable reckoning which dare not be named. Welcome to the modern enslavement.

And now that the Wuflu has ( temporarily) crushed the mass immigration Ponzi and threatened to increase the affordability of NZ house prices , the cry has gone up ......MOAR immigration now !
NZ can take a short term economic hit now or it can continue to enslave its population with debt as the liveability and environment of their nation is destroyed through resumption of the mass immigration Ponzi scheme.
Australia , Canada , UK etc etc all in the same boat.
Hold your horses blowin, you've still got questions to answer from another thread. You can't just post another anit-immigrant piece, expecting the questions to go away.
You claimed people were predicting 250,000,000 deaths in Africa from Covid 19. You also claimed the US infection and death figures from Covid 19 were exaggerated.
Back up these two wild claims or other readers will just assume you're a complete bullshit artists blowin.
If you were so concerned about what other readers thought you’d stop portraying yourself as a silly old fool who only comes on Swellnet to follow me around.
I’ve got no idea where I heard the 250M claim. Somewhere. If you’re so interested you chase it up.
If I didn’t have the screen shot stating that 80,000 people per week were meant to die in Indo during April you wouldn’t believe that either.
It’d be just more blah blah blah from just another old fool .
Shouldn’t you be down the beach shaking your walking stick at the surfers from outside your postcode whilst you preach on about your hatred of people who fear foreigners ?
Vic Local argument #1 : Fear of people based on where they are from is evil !
Vic Local argument #2 : All these people from somewhere else are scaring me !
= DC
Why do people fear foreigners? Serious question, is fear of the unknown, neophobia?
We were on the north island for 3 weeks early last year and I mentioned here afterwards perhaps upwards of 70-80% of all people on the streets in Auckland were young foreign workers, students or tourists from SE Asia, China or the subcontinent. Our hotel was surrounded by 15 plus story apartment blocks where these people lived. How can that sort of population growth be sustainable on any level into the future?
"...Other readers will just assume you're a complete bullshit artists blowin."
That horse bolted years ago, Vic.
Then again Alan Jones kept going and going and going...
Yet Media Watch prevailed.
"I’ve got no idea where I heard the 250M claim. Somewhere." Oh my, how embarrassing.
So in other words blowin, you make bullshit claims, can't back them up, and resort to abuse.
Exactly Guy - it seems like talk of anything resembling a sustainable future is decades in the future.
@ Guy, just curious what you mean by sustainable population growth. Sustainable future also, what context? Cheers
My bottom line is always the environment Terminal.
Further, while I’m a supporter of migration and cultural diversity I believe the current numbers are out of control (have been for a decade or more) creating problems beyond the environment - cultural, social, economic (employment, housing, infrastructure, health) etc.
It’s very lazy short-term economics to just import more and more people to create demand to grow the country. The question that can never be answered by those economists advocating more and more immigration is when is there enough people to look after the ageing population etc, it’s a hollow, bullshit argument. Productivity can be grown in different more efficient ways but that takes planning/thinking, yes?
And Pol Pot was an Agrarian Socialist with a bit of a mean streak.
Totally agree Guy.
And not only would it take planning and thinking, it'd require a much clearer separation between government and business.
In the longer term it would require a comprehensive rethink of human values and that would scare the shit out of a lot of people.
Here’s some very interesting reading indeed. ( three parts )

I'm happy to be corrected but this is how it seems to me.
Frydenberg revealed that 6 million people were getting the JobKeeper payment and 1.6 million were getting the Jobseeker Allowance.
That's 7.6 million people out of work and getting benefits which is 58% of the workforce.
That is double the rate of the Great Depression and instead of taking 8 years to reach that peak, it has taken 8 weeks.
Tough times still ahead? House prices to collapse?
Not everyone on jobkeeper is out of work - its based on drop in company turnover IIRC, so plenty still "working", just with less to do. Also some companies that have dropped fees etc, so still doing plenty of work but for less profit.
Numbers are still bloody scary.
Meanwhile one of our neighbours humble-bragged to us about getting the JobKeeper as she's apparently on her husband's books - I guess for tax minimisation reasons cos she doesn't actually work. Some people lose their businesses, while others openly rort the system.
Have it cunts
