Septic Tanks are going to Septic Tank

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 12:27 am new

@basesix
Thanks, I’ll have to take your word for it that he’s nice in the surf, but the assertion that no water tables have ever been contaminated anywhere, from fracking or drilling , because of the watchdog’s , is obviously BS , and can be disproven in 5 minutes.
Must be some sort of motive there.

Juls... are ya sayin that Pop Down id Poppin Sideways?! lol

seeds Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 01:00 am new

Not pretty from the air. I don’t know about in underground aquifers. I would assume if it was being stuffed there wouldn’t be much coming to light to expose it.

Pop Down Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 05:42 am new

Hello Juliang

I am sorry for sounding like a bull in a China shop .

Fracking has Contaminated some water tables , but not on a major scale , that I am aware of .

Please correct me .

U said destroyed and I asked U 4 ONE example .

Not 1 given .

The Industry must have drilled a Million holes , in the last 10-15 years .

U sounded a Scaremonger , 2 me .

If U think most Australians want 2 go backwards in lifestyle and get rid of Cars , Trains , Trucks and Planes , I disagree .

Have a good day .

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 05:45 am new

@ Spykans quoted from the BBC
“The plans future .
Project 2025 is backed by a $ 22 million budget, and includes strategies for implementing policies, immediately after the Presidential inauguration in January 2025

The Heritage Foundation is also creating a Database of “ Conservative Loyalists “ to fill Government positions, and a programme to train those new workers!””

Thanks for the latest information on Project 2025 @ Spykan

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 05:55 am new

@ Popdown
Contaminated, destroyed same thing, are you going to drink toxic water from a well contaminated by frackings poisonous run off. ? lol
I actually gave you 5 or 6 examples of contaminated water tables , which took me 5-10 minutes to compile
I try to keep them down to a few minutes, for us challenged by an old attention span .

Just because you didn’t read them, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Great logic there!

Pop Down Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 05:58 am new

I was just reading about the Heritage Foundation as well Juliang and will check them out .

The Heritage Foundation just released a comprehensive report into the Origins of Covid .

They estimated the Chinese Bird Flu , cost the US $18 Trillion !

Said that the Chinese covered it all up and created a Virus that lead 2 a world wide catastrophe .

Pop Down Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 06:14 am new

Destroyed and Contaminated are Miles apart imho Juliang , so unsurprising my logic sounded illogical .

I somehow assumed , there were degrees of contamination and was pissing in the Ocean , destroying things .

Thanks 4 setting me straight .

The Yarra River is destroyed , shit contaminants from Fracking humans everywhere ffs !

That's a disappointing start 2 the day :) .

Oh well , shit happens .

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 06:42 am new

@ pop down
Well apart from anything, water tables are way smaller than any ocean,
And I’m no chemical engineer, but would assume that urine is less toxic than the heavy metal chemicals they use in fracking.

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 06:56 am new

@ pop down
Yes it was @ spykan warning us about the Heritage Foundations plans for Project 2025. ,

Pop Down Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 07:05 am new

Hey Juliang

Sorry again , 4 being silly .

You are right and I agree they put toxic chemicals into the Fracking mixtures .

The Stuff is mixed with Water and other stuff and IS injected into Mother Earth .

Stuff does spill and stuff does get contaminated , it's the way of the Human World .

Humans are smart , they don't , normally , Shit in their Own backyard .

Even normal drilling 4 Oil and Gas deposits , uses heavy metal chemicals .

For Underground Shale or Coal seams , a different con concoction is used .

The Environmental Regulations are Huge .

The Drilling was tested and now has been happening for over a decade .

Protestors said Whole Water Tables , would B destroyed , none have .

Of course humans have spilled some stuff , yes , contaminated stuff .

We then , usually , clean up our back yard .

We are the Good Guys !

The Gas is all just sitting there , waiting 4 US .

Fracking the seams , tickles OUT the Gas and IS needed imho .

I seem 2B the Odd 1 out with Fracking .

Harris wanting 2 kill it , maybe IS an Election Winning Policy , I will give U that point , as well Juliang !

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 08:51 am new

@ popdown
Thanks , glad that you concede that water is more important than gas.
And that I’m not a scaremonger .

Pop Down Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 09:20 am new

I will cool off with the fracking around Juliang :) and there are no scaredy cats , on SN .,

We need both gas and water to survive , I can't hold my breath , 4 that long .

We need 2 produce gas in Australia and with an increasing population and 2 close Coal , we need more .

Where CAN Australians look 4 Gas and or , Oil ?

Papua Petroleum ?

Or just buy it from Qatar ?

What does the US do ?

Go Nuclear harder ?

Do we need to go down that path ?

Make America Healthy Again .

A wonderful , Kennedy like Slogan !

Big Processed Ag , Big Pharma , CDC , FDA , with Deep Sates help , sure have made the US an unhealthy place to live , recently .

The US is being fed shit atm , imagine the whole country going on a healthier diet .

Small Farm friendly , Deep State , Processed/ sugary food and Big Pharma , unfriendly .

I wonder if the idea will rate , 4 Americans ?

Being told by Trump , U need 2 go on a diet , might not B well received , by at least half the voters haha .

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 11:14 am new

Ha ha ,
If Trump wins, at least the Ventolin manufacturers share price is going to shoot up

Yes scary isn’t it, there’s no shortage of those videos on YouTube.
To think that Trump might win, and all these Trump supporters might become government employees, under The Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025
Which @ spykans warned us about, already underway!

basesix Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 06:04 pm new

yep @Juliang, I've had mates (mostly girls that like zombie shows) that have said it's coming, for about 15 years. I live where it would be a gentle culling of maybe 5 a night with an old shot gun.. be it chinese, ice, marxist or clockwork orange invasion. should be right. unless there's a meteor.

velocityjohnno Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 06:09 pm new

Yep, tomorrow is 26/8/24 thats 2+6/8/2+0+2+4
thats8/8/8 geddit, know what that means?! Lucky Chinese bingo numbers that's what.

Actually everyone is nuttier than a squirrels larder, the internet just allows everyone else to see it

Yes I’m assuming you live in rural south oz , Where the infamous Snowtown is!
But could be the same situation in any smaller rural area.

I cruise the sou'west facing coast between robe and portland.. like penong, but without the alltime great breaks.. nothing zombie dramatic away from the cities, maybe some vicco meth towns, but I do talk with people from where YOU ARE, and they have the fear in their bellies!!! (...loook behiiind youuuu..)

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 06:49 pm new

@ Basesix
I used to live in a rural town in Tassy , and my wife and young kids used to walk around town on their own , because she didn’t have a driver’s license.
I got really paranoid after she Joined a strict religious group , and other occurrences , so we bailed before the lease was finished.
Found out recently that the head cop of the town ,at the time was the head of a paedophile ring in the town .
My paranoia was justified and I felt a lot safer arriving in a big city!

basesix Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 07:00 pm new

mm, I do hear that! love the anonymity of a city!
(but I also value not having to turn up to things that town rellies and friends do..
wishing them well from afar, they seem to like that, as a layer to their things)
did you watch bay of fires? became pretty forced for me, that watch,
like rain shadow, started with potential..
limited budgets, and tight production/writing schedules these days..

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 07:01 pm new

Talking about climate change,
Brisbanes going to be 34 c for the last day winter .
Not good news, despite the whinging sooks who can’t handle a bit of cold

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 07:07 pm new

@ basesix ,
Yes rural towns are pretty cool usually , but my wife was Asian and I had mainland plates , which isn’t good anywhere in Tassy .
No , I did go to the Bay of Fires a lot but didn’t watch it.
Didn’t get a lot of good waves there, but beautiful remote area .

basesix Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 07:18 pm new

where are you now, J-liang?

i'm imagining, like, coffs harbour kinda area, maybe?

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 07:30 pm new

@ Basesix
Yeah it would be good cruising from Portland to Robe , but I’m not complaining about having world class waves down the road, which can become less crowded at times depending on where you sit in the lineup and how much volume you use.
Also the warm water and weather, and uncrowded beach breaks when the banks are good .

basesix Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 07:40 pm new

haha ,@juliang, classic. fuck palm trees, luxe waves, warm water, cafes and tourists. indicative of being somewhere that attracts people with no imagination ; )

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 07:41 pm new

No there’s a lot of rural areas I could have ended up , but my ex wife got a place in Brisbane, so I’m hanging around crowded cities, which is ok because of the proximity to a lot of good waves, from Noosa t o Byron.

I have lived in a lot of rural areas, so I don’t feel I’m missing out now, but do see they’re good side !

seeds Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 07:43 pm new

Brizzo blowin.
Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
(especially the volume)

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 07:53 pm new

@ Basesix
When my wife first came over from an unnamed Asian country ,you have to use your imagination there.
We moved from Snapper to Kingscliff to the York peninsula to Port Lincoln to Ballina to Lennox to Maroochydore to Warnambool to snapper and to Tassy every 6 months when the leases finished, so I don’t feel like I’ve missed out on much, living in a tourist city at the moment.

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 07:57 pm new

@ Seeds
Ha I was living on the Goldy and calling out Brissos before you were born ( depending on your age) but after decades of moving around I don’t judge people on where they have to or choose to live anymore.

seeds Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 08:00 pm new

All good. Not having a go. I was actually telling basesix where you’re based but you’re post beat me by a millisecond.
I was a Brizzy fella when I started surfing.

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 08:00 pm new

FYI seeds I don’t actually live in Brisbane, but don’t resent the people who have to escape there on the weekend anymore, except for when I can’t get a park lol

seeds Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 08:03 pm new

Ha I beat you that time ^^^

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 08:09 pm new

Don’t knock the suburbs too much, after all Mick Fanning was born in Penrith , and no one’s calling him a Westy blowin,
Sounds like I would have been calling you Brisso back in the day @ Seeds lol

seeds Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 08:12 pm new

It’s amazing that I even started surfing because of the places I grew up.

Juliang Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 08:16 pm new

Yes I was lucky enough to ride to the beach on a pushy

tubeshooter Sunday, 25 Aug 2024 at 08:26 pm new

Makes me appreciate living adjacent to the dunes in a couple of places when I was growing up.
Especially for the earlies before school.
Quick stroll to check the surf, wipe the sleep out of your eyes, a quick piss and a look around, ahh too easy.
Bolt back, grab the board, surf, bolt back, quick bowl of cereal and on the school bus.
I felt for my mates who had to ride.
