The woke inclusiveness culture is destroying language and making definitions meaningless. The below is from Healthline.com, which is the largest health information site in the USA. The article, titled "How do lesbians have sex", purports that lesbians can have penises.

The word woke isn't a right wing word, it's a simple word to describe the unnecessary craziness of some of the shit going on it the world today that any sane people can see is ridiculous no matter if they are from the right, centre or even the left, the kind of stuff Patrick has pointed out.

Often where or when ideas etc are pushed to such an extreme that it goes to some ridicules point, in many cases a point where it goes so far that is actually defeats the original purpose and becomes damaging in itself
That video i posted above is obviously comedy/satire but like much satire/comedy it's funny only because it's actually reflecting real life at this point.
It shows how a racist person and a totally woke person views while coming from opposite sides actually met at a point and the views of a woke person are in a sense racist, divisive, damaging even if the intent is from a good place.

Most likely, but there is plenty of very measured, reasonable criticism of the "woke" thing, primarily its intolerance of opposing views, its desire for public shaming and ostracism, and its tendency to dissolve complex policy issues in a blinding moral certainty.
At the same time, the positioning of all criticism of woke culture as right-wing hypocrisy is pretty lame - this is not a Left/Right battle, plenty of Lefties and a shitload of more Centrist people have pretty grave misgivings about the whole woke/cancel culture movement, Noam Chomsky and Gloria Steinem amongst them.
The true frontier in this conflict is within the left. The right exploits it for its own predictable purposes, but that’s actually a sideshow.

I agree more or less with the original meaning and intent of these terms, how ever, through the way they have been used over the years, they have now been rendered meaningless. As such, they are just empty pejoratives now.

I was a mature age student, surrounded by younger mature age students, and a couple of close friends started flogging this stuff on facebook, it was a whole new vernacular and way of approaching identity politics ...pre trump / brexit...
post trump / brexit, it became a slur, a gratuitous slur for the right of politics when they realised they had some real milage to be gained from it, because, as andym points out, half of the left jumped on board, because, ...well... because of a heap of things...
I find it most interesting the biggest wokesters on here are trying to downplay it, like rats scurrying the sinking ship, one of em's been denying the significance of the movement, and the following counter movement, vehemently, for years ...just more damage control and denial from the propaganda machine you might say...
sadly it has been caught up with the environment movement, and I'm sure for some of us on here, that's why we jump on board bagging it, because it's undermining and making parts of the traditional left look rather ridiculous
and making gratuitous points for the right of politics, just way way too easy to make...
many crew just wanna call out some of the more ridiculous parts of wokeness, or at least be able to chat about it, but the whole 'you're either with us or against us' mentality, leading to the no platforming / cancelling bullshit, makes it impossible
I suspect many of us would still be 'allies' for most causes, but the shutting down of conversations has just become way over the top and off putting, dangerous even, ...just ask crew like j.k. rowling and the 'terfs'...
and as sheepdog points out, this no platforming / cancelling mentality has just grown wider and wider, with 'climate denier' and 'anti vaxxer', and now 'conspiracy theorist' thrown around far too readily to anyone who just wants to ask questions and have a reasonable discussion
the fact this cancelling thinking has now penetrated and influenced the highest of the 'lefty's' in the land, ie. the nyt, cnn, etc., big tech., and the now hyper censorist democrat party, is leading to some pretty scary outcomes, where even old school leffty's like noam chomsky, the harpers letter contributors, glen greenwald, matt taibbi, and a heap of others, feel the need to speak out. these crew don't break ranks lightly, and that should be pause for thought for some of the mindless propagandaists on here
but it ain't, they seem to just go harder, deeper and darker, fighting to the bitter aimless end, which makes one wonder why?
the damage and undermining of wider - possibly more important - causes is plain for all to see ...well maybe not all...

@Sypkan... “cancelling thinking” is still such a vague concept to me but from what I make of it, it is neither left or right, it is just a bunch of people jumping on social media and trying to yell louder. Take the jet ski thread in the WOTD article the other day as an example.
