Hello, flammable one.
Are you a surfer, if so, where’s ya local .

We’re not nosy at all, but would love to know a bit about you before we get engaged, that’d be only fitting before we establish a relationship wouldn’t you think.

See, of late, we’ve had a fair bit of ‘identity misappropriation’

Are you the real McCoy or just a meal Decoy ?

We are a curious mob. AW

I think it’s Charles Darwin and seedy seeds

Gotta give it to you Exxotixjeff, you are way smarter than all of us.
How you worked that out astounds me, bloody genius. AW

Overall, it looks like a major win for Israel in short term. Hizbollah are finished without the support of weapons etc that comes through Syria from Iran.

I guess the IDF will now start operations in southern Lebanon without much resistance and no doubt start new settlements.

Gaza will step up further, opening the land up for settlers, and they will probably expand east.

Project Greater Israel.

Longer term who knows? The black flag gangs are in control with US support, what could possibly go wrong?

Looks like the Palestinian cause is done and dusted, who says genocide doesn't pay. Where the indigenous people will be forced to go is anyone's guess.

Glad I live in Oz....

Yeah Asad falling benefits Israel if the new government doesn't allow Iran/Hezbollah to bring rockets across Syria and seeing the rebels were fighting Hezbollah/Iran that's likely, but they are Jihadist they could also pose another new problem for Israel.

BTW. That video of that guy means little, he isn't a middle east expert and that channels is very anti Israel, id want to hear something from a much better source and then proper evidence, I havent seen it anywhere if it was true you would think there would be much talk about it, USA regard these groups as terrorist organizations too.

His take on Israel is also way off, Israel have been hitting Hezbollah targets in Syria in the last few months mostly rockets being brought into Lebanon, obviously they are doing that for their own benefit and to prevent them being fired into Israel not to help out the rebels.

Media was reporting last week Asad even asked Israel to help them, but if true seems they were wise to not get involved.

As for those Israeli's that want settlements in southern Lebanon they are like a tiny fringe group the chances of that happening is so remote it's not at all realistic, all Israel wants is not to have hezbollah on their border (North Israel is a plain and Lebanon rises up over looking it)

Even the idea of resettling Gaza and allowing those Israeli's that were forced out in 2005 literally dragged from homes by IDF to return isn't supported by a majority of Israeli's (about 40%)

Personally i think it would be crazy not to keep some kind of presence in Gaza though, the 2005 disengagement plan was a complete failure, Jews have just as much right to live in Gaza as others, while historically and culturally its doest have anywhere near the same importance as Judea & Samaria (West Bank) Jews have had a presence there for most of the last few thousand years.

Anyway that's getting off track.

Only 30% of Jews in Israel families have returned from Europe and DNA studies have shown they have clear links to those Jews that fled to save their life's from Roman occupation.

70% of Jews in Israel are Mizrahi Jews meaning their family never left Israel or they fled to other middle east countries and have returned from those countries, if DNA is important to you these Jews have similar DNA as Palestinian's only difference is unlike Palestinian's the language they use is indigenous, the religion many practice is indigenous and their culture has ties to ancient indigenous culture.

BTW. Not all Jews are religious many are even atheists, and conversion to Judaism is fairly uncommon.

In regard to Israels immigration just like Australia it's a very multicultural country, so yeah just like us they have immigration but it's not all Jews about half of Israel immigrants are non Jewish.(some years more than half are non Jewish)

Proper DNA study paper on all groups in levant region

"The Genomic History of the Bronze Age Southern Levant"

https://www.cell.com/cell/fulltext/S0092-8674%2820%2930487-6#%20

BTW. The only Jewish group in Israel with no DNA ties to Canaanites are Ethiopian Jews about 2% of the Israeli population not sure why or how Judaism became a thing there, most came to Israel in the 70s to 90s as refugees due to famine and civil war.

They have a long history for better or for worse depending on your views on meddling in other countries affairs to push their national interest.

Turkey backs HTS, they have taken a lot.

There is highly likely going to be conflict amongst a few of the groups.HTS have recruited some that were loyal to Assad's regime(cops and soldiers) they are building strength as they go.The story continues!

Dear etarip,

I must confess, I'm somewhat perplexed by the points you're trying to make. Your responses do not seem to counter mine; in fact, they align rather closely with my own views. One of the links you provided explicitly acknowledges that these so-called 'rebels' are backed by the United States, which has been actively bombing the rebels' adversaries and clearing their path.

It's clear, isn't it, that while they haven't yet seized control over all of Syria, the outcome seems almost inevitable at this stage. The stated aim of this emerging Islamic terrorist regime appears to be an advance towards Jerusalem.

We've seen this pattern before, haven't we? How many times have we witnessed the installation of militant Islamic regimes in the Middle East, each promising to do 'all the right things'? Only to then betray the trust of the international community and plunge their nations into chaos? Libya, Iraq... the list goes on.

It's a cycle we should be wary of repeating.

I must say, there's no need to 'demand' that I respond to you immediately. I am free to manage my time as I see fit, and I certainly won't be losing sleep over forum debates.
