Funnily enough I was having a quiet night in. Guess my mind was wandering elsewhere.

Before we leave the drinking songs altogether, a nod to the masters of the genre.

Still the most aggressive and one of the fastest 90's punk songs from the USA
(despite the descendants who werent really that melodic or interesting...they were the fastest band though.)
Another one that the lyrics remind me of Kings Cross and the big hill, coke sign and drugstore hooligans. Back when Green Day were good...they might have become sellouts but id take a few mill a record if it was offered to me...i just wouldnt change my sound like Green Day did.
As usual Adam Beyer produces quality techno again...worth listening to with a coffee mug or something stronger if possible.

Best to have real good earphones for this one. Made it all by herself on logic i think.
60's Prog Psych band LOVE...must have classic LP (2 Songs + Live Comeback special)
A House is not a Motel...
2016 Still the best ticket in town ~ Come alive version...Salute the old school!
Alone Again or...(The Damned Cover is also brilliant!)

Blackers your not making it easy. Had to have a stab during lunch here's a couple might be a bit hit and miss as I am not super familiar with all of them.
You do alright Rob, can’t fault those. Try this one.

Classic selection there Rob, love "My way" the most.
Love it Blackers. Paul Kalkbrenner is an awesome artist and has made a movie called Berlin Calling. Definitely worth a watch with subtitles.

you can't go wrong with the legends coloured stone and the mighty warumpi. Hard recordings that are hard to get these days. Bit of Aussie history right there I was interested in. Think they have become highly sort after from what a few crew have told me. Unique Australian sounds.
If you like them suggest also No Fixed Address formed in 1979 in South Australia. They used to play regularly in a pub I worked in.Worth a listen ,had a bit of a reggae feel at times
Heard a bit about them on and abc radio segment this year while working. I also tried to get some of them. But same thing again. Bloody collectors item. I found them on utube and read about the film I didn't know of. I think it was a possible split with us or our mob. Great to see indigenous music being celebrated and created. Massive part in bringing our country together and being used as a voice. I know community radio stations have been playing this stuff for years. It's defiantly had a resurgence and I'm stoked on the inspiration and period it reflects. Pioneering sounds of time gone by. Paving the way for others. Leaders of man.
blackers gave the mr Terauchi and blue jeans a listen last night. cheers for that. hot like Wasabi
Cheers Rob, glad you liked it. First heard it on the radio coming back from a surf last week, and thought it was worth sharing.
Five live performances that tickle your fancy.....

Alright, time for some discussion on what yr all listening too. My iTunes inventory is getting a little stale so I'm up for some inspiration.
Currently loving The Drones' album "Havilah".. incredible songwriting and some of the best recorded guitars and drum I've heard in a long time. I'm a little late to the party with this album but it's on high rotation at the moment and will probably stay there a while. I've seen these guys live once (Fowlers, Adelaide) and fortunately they're incredible on stage too. Can't wait to see them again.
