You could write these girls off as a novelty, but really they have talent, lead singer has a good voice coupled with a unique look and confidence, plus can play bass better than many and the guitarist is pretty decent.
Crazy that in Indo 21 old muslim girls like this even know these songs let alone play them like they do, i hope someone takes these girls under their wing and helps them go somewhere with some originals.
This vid just a good insight into more of who they are and lengths they must go too (turning up o gig on scoters with guitars), it's not easy for girls in rock roll bands even in Aust imagine in Indo as a muslim girl, amazing really.
One of these guys is amazing…the other, meh. The amazing guy’s music is an Australian treasure.

san Guine, thanks for putting those up. I don't know many people of our ilk who like classical music but I adore it.
Dude put up a Don McLean song a whiles back saying it was the most beautiful song ever written. This is my winner for the most beautiful song ever written. There's a reason Mozart was the shit. The guy was a genius. Probs one of the most well known pieces of classical music too.
Soothing, Wolfgangs lifetime dedication to his craft. And with a name like Wolfgang you'd have be a genius too.
I may be wrong but legend has it this song came to him in a dream and he wrote it down, note for note, the next day. Sounds far fetched but the story kinda ties in nicely with such a dreamy composition.
You should check out John Zorn Zen.
He writes lots of different genres. Including classical.
The albumn Nosferatu would be a good start. Or maybe The Concealed.

Alright, time for some discussion on what yr all listening too. My iTunes inventory is getting a little stale so I'm up for some inspiration.
Currently loving The Drones' album "Havilah".. incredible songwriting and some of the best recorded guitars and drum I've heard in a long time. I'm a little late to the party with this album but it's on high rotation at the moment and will probably stay there a while. I've seen these guys live once (Fowlers, Adelaide) and fortunately they're incredible on stage too. Can't wait to see them again.
