Got another 'reunion' gig coming up this week, with The Undecided - a band I joined around thirty years ago. We only released one EP, but played a lot of fun shows and scored a slot on the first Big Day Out (the infamous forty-degree day at Adelaide Uni Lawns).
The gig is with The Clouds this Friday at The Gov.. really looking forward to it (hope the shingles ease a little over the coming days). Can't wait to see The Clouds too.. they were a staple in the early 90's.
Fun times. Hard to come across any footage that ages well from back then. Even harder to get much at all.
I spot a 6ft hick kit, and a whole lot of living going on .Get out there, because change is inevitable.
1984 Wollongong Party House host Ian Svegric formed a band with WIN TV party animals
Svegie couldn't sing so was kicked outta his own band & made Manager / Warm Up Comedian.
In true R&R tradition > Svegies Vegies were born & the 'Gong went off!
Band camped > Drummer went on to '90's Brizbands > (Svegies Vegies Reformed in 2014-16)

tbb has never heard of this band until now...2021 Fatbird 24 reply > (7) 1988 Iron Man soundtrack!
Thrash Punks can pull off a wide range of sound.
They reckon they wanted to squeeze in more notes per bar...(Check for Interviews!)
Wow! Great Band...any Hodads hooked on the Svegies Vegies diet
This rates as a dead set shit hot Oz AA single....Bang a 'Gong get it On.
Lonely Trail > sounds like Aussie REM (See also the Telethon Clip)
Just Tell me Lies (Telethon Clip) re: Sounds like Dockers + (Check [f] > 2014 Live version)
couldn't find a "the undecided" track on utube to play, too underground but it's on band camp for those interested. have a good show ben and hope the shingles have left.
Songs with a true story, are so much more powerful.
This song based on the prison riot in Brazil which saw 111 untrialled inmates shot dead by militia in Paviolion 9.
And the story of the actual circumstances. Brazil. Crazy crazy country
Saw Nick, Warren and the gang at the grand old opry last night. Geez they were good. Crowd was mainly superannuants but the concert hall doesnt lend itself to active participation and neither really did the set list, but awesome none the less. This was a highlight.

So many ripper trax from the crew...Aussie Punks know we gotta back up the Spikes...no worries!
Goldie Punks had a few SA visitors...as long as they brought Spikes records they could hovel.
tbb has still got his Spikes record...great stuff!
Next Vid was only ever shown on Simon Townsend's Wonder World (Cheers Johnno!)
Had to wait Years / Decades for a second view!
Have a good one all.

Noice one Stuart.
One from back in the day and one from some young upstarts from around here, friend's kids on guitar and bass. Go alright too.

Ah Stuart, The Locust Abortion Technician.
I remember buying it on import cd.
After listening to about half of it with the Misso she gave me an eye rolling look and said "You paid 35 bucks for that!"
Great stuff.
B-side Nom de Plume tune adds a touch of Gloom to Stuart's Year of The Doomed.
Blonde Redhead ~23 ~ (tbb is championing The Chix Revolution Resolution!)

Alright, time for some discussion on what yr all listening too. My iTunes inventory is getting a little stale so I'm up for some inspiration.
Currently loving The Drones' album "Havilah".. incredible songwriting and some of the best recorded guitars and drum I've heard in a long time. I'm a little late to the party with this album but it's on high rotation at the moment and will probably stay there a while. I've seen these guys live once (Fowlers, Adelaide) and fortunately they're incredible on stage too. Can't wait to see them again.
