Alright, time for some discussion on what yr all listening too. My iTunes inventory is getting a little stale so I'm up for some inspiration.

Currently loving The Drones' album "Havilah".. incredible songwriting and some of the best recorded guitars and drum I've heard in a long time. I'm a little late to the party with this album but it's on high rotation at the moment and will probably stay there a while. I've seen these guys live once (Fowlers, Adelaide) and fortunately they're incredible on stage too. Can't wait to see them again.

Ren has some great songs and is very entertaining, "Hi Ren" is not one of them.

Possibly the reason why. Some fun stuff from the late 80's local music scene.

great songs blackers! RIAWOL garage forever haha, the thousand live n' grimy bands that rocked 80s pubs despite pop, but couldn't survive the grunge. Never gets old.

Frank Turner coming to Aus with his band in late November. Seem to remember there's some fans here, Song for Josh has been posted a couple of times, I reckon.

I say You say
Weren't you listening
Now it's too late
You're not listening
I say You say
Weren't you listening
Now it's too late
You're not listening

I've heard it all before
So many words
That you've just closed the door
If you notice
The changes that you fear
But now it's too late to see

Thanks, yeah its a great Album i really dig Vee Vee and Greatest of all time too, and speed of cattle is a great compilation, All the nations airports was still good but for me it marked the decline, never got into White trash hero's and new album doesnt do it for me, just not enough of the original element's i dig there anymore

Great band though, only saw them once when they came out in the 90s at The Great Northern in Byron.

nice blackers, indo's list got me re-visiting some pre-pokies 90s pub rock. Reckon Tim Steward grew up listening to Roxy Music? The first interval in the chorus melody always earworms me to the opening melody of More Than This: 1, 6, 1, 2..

indo-dreaming Friday, 8 Sep 2023 at 04:48 pm new

Hmm not sure if i hear that, they are clearly pretty influenced by Husker du though.
