Whatever you put yourself through to get today's WOTD shot Craig, it was worth it. Amazing!!!! That wave just gets bigger each time i look at it. Next level stuff and hats off to Joey Keogh and anyone else in the water on this day. Monsters!!

The longer i look at Todays pic the Hollower the wave gets and the Bigger the Rider is.

Today’s one looked all time this week. Big.
Knew who it was before i even read the caption or had a good look at the face. That style is timeless.
Excellent action shot today. The wave is just large enough to be consequential with a nice bit of nuggety heft to it. The surfer is nice and deep with chance of making the wave still an entirely feasible proposition. Provided they didn’t somehow screw up.
Shots of crew streaking through a close out are the worst, particularly when they’re captioned as though someone is getting the barrel of their life. CoastalWatch was chronic for it.

I wholeheartedly agree.
What's even better is that Pete always sends his images in a bundle, and they arrive with a conspicuous absence of fanfare. Almost like, 'Was going to delete them off the card but I thought I'd send them to you.' The sort of email that presages disappointment.
And then you scan the attachments to find pure gold.

In one photo you've encompassed everything nice about surfing. If I was a wanker I'd say that it was perfect except for the fact he is in a wetsuit. Which it is , it's perfect .....except for the fact he's in a wetsuit.
