I have been watching on in dismay in regards to what's going on back home and have to say I like the way the Japanese have approached covid-19. The media here don't scream death gloom and doom. They report the numbers, encourage people to get the vaccine (we all had to sign our informed consent forms) and we all got our vaccines according to need. Our boosters start early next year.
And yes, Ivermectin is widely prescribed as a complimentary treatment here. Corona cases have plummeted here to be almost insignificant and withfout lockdowns or border closures and all the other stuff associated with it back home.
I'm not saying either approach is right or wrong as Oz has performed quite well compared to many other countries and of course, if you travel abroad you still have to quarantine upon your return. Having said that, Japan has been pretty good to me personally with the exception of having to wear these fucking paper masks- I hate them. But again, I don't have to wear one, I just do because everyone else does.
