Listened to speech this morning, the bit that struck with me was his mentioning of how the US was founded, manifest destiny, how the west was won - and extending that process of growth into their 20thC achievements and space - for the last 10, 15, 25 years pilgrims have been forgotten, settlers thought of with guilt; here was Trump unashamedly giving them their dues as nation builders.

In regard to the Trump, village people YMCA thing, it's actually quite interesting to how the song became associated Trump/Maga, i thought it was a recent 2024 thing, but the other week i did a search on Youtube and it came up with the same thing from four years ago.
