Cold Hawaii. It's on the west coast best in winter, we were there in September/Autumn, was still cool but mainly the wind.
Local surf shop had some good vids running, snow surfing.
Lots of kite surfers.
Not somewhere you would go on a surf trip, was visiting relos nearby.

@ newdog, despite the GFC, covid and now Trump my super is still way higher than when I retired, even though I am drawing a nice sum per week. So far, my advisor has been spot on in saying sit tight and ride it out. I have about 50% in cash and the rest in international and Aust equities and property etc. etc.
Stoks have recovered quite a bit lately so Trump has only cost me about 25K atm. Cheers.

Honestly if he was in Australia as prime minister it would be a bit scary.
Trumps kind of won me over in many ways since becoming president but he has turned things up to 11 he needs to turn it down to about 8.
Theres a shit load i fully support him on, but also shit i wish he wouldn't do like the Canada and Greenland things, and just going so hard on tariffs etc
