Cheers. Watched it for a while, and some were just fat burgers, but quite a few threw out nicely on takeoff and walled up fast and nice. I'd bloody well give it a red-hot go if I were there.

These guys were up for an adventure going across the guts. I note Dalhousie Springs. Great spot for a mid winter night or sunrise swim.

Good to see that he resisted the temptation to have the camera focus on him for half the vid like so many Youtubers do, makes all the difference.

One of the better Slater interviews i've taken the time to watch in a while.
Seems to open up alot more to the non surfing interviewee than the standard surf industry ones.
Not sure if it's the lack of fandom from the interviewee, or just plain dumb naivety of the sport which allows Slats more time to reflect and talk without interruption from the interviewee.
But it's a goodee. Learnt more from this than 15 years of woz interviews and promos.

That was unreal.
Great little clip that, I so wanted to hate it, when it started I thought, oh here we go another Lucy Small type talking herself up. But this chick can really surf and charges like a bloke and is living the true surfer's dream. Good on her, But I wouldn't go mentioning the breaks.
