That mission is a score in anyone’s book.
Where are you j.sCallahan? Jbay still?
Does Mickey Feb need to hit you up also? Maybe a few tips for in the tubeo?
Nice vibe to this clip and I'm intrigued by the board he's riding, the green quad, different outline with wide point well forward and longer rail through the back end but seems to go alright
Are you tapped into the wisdom of the ancients udo? ;) Cheers
Looks like the Osprey, plenty of drive on a couple of sections when he needed it

Pretty keen to give this model a go, have a couple of Panda twinzers and they go insane.
Fifteen years ago, pre-GoPro, when aerial shots meant paying $1k/hr, boards were thin, boardshorts long, and the letters AI didn't give you the heebeegeebees.

Must be more than 15 years ago Stu- he died in 2010.
Time flies!
Fifteen years ago yesterday. That clip was a tribute to him.
On the topic. Recent footage of Cros Cola's triple combo at Cloudbreak brought comparisons to AI, and also ignited a blow up with people who felt they knew better. At the risk of sacrilege and igniting another online blow up, I think Cros' wave was above what I'd seen AI do at Cloudy.
We stand on the shoulder of giants.
...well, some surfers do.
There was an Insta post with Crosby's wave, then AI at the end. Find it and you may change your mind; I did.
(Crosby's wave was still phenomenal)

Not trying to be antagonistic, but I don't think that's better surfing.
Sure, he fronts up, arcs it harder off the bottom than anyone else in that period, and there's some good improv when he gets to the lip late or whatnot, but to my eyes Cros surfs 'bigger' and he repeats it times three.
I prefer Andy's turns.
Every turn Cros does is a "release" turn- and they are all very similar.
Andy hacks into it much harder, especially on that big carve and surfs with more spontaneity.
Andys turns look more critical in the more critical parts of the wave.
And it looks heavier too.
Yeah I think im going with Andy...
Biased maybe, but just has a but more savagery about it.....
The more I watch Andy footage, the more he impresses. Savagery, as andy-mac called it. One of the true greats.
At the same time, both Colapintos just seem to get better and better.
Would have been so interesting to see Andy on more modern boards (not necessarily better), and to see Griff and Crosby on slightly longer boards.
Don't think there's a forum thread for random surf clips to share...so here goes.
