These are clearly marketed as fcking no material use coins other than short term money making gain (and pain for the buyers at the top). But the gains on the above memecoins over the last few months are just eye watering. No stoppage in sight in the short term either.

Here's an interesting stat also. If you'd bought $1000 worth of BTC in 2014, you'd now have $1million. Nothing over the last 11 years has even come close to that.

Buying 10 years ago came with ridicule, being laughed at, numerous amounts of advice about wasting your money etc etc

It wasn't too much later I got into crypto so I'm not convinced too much ridicule was around back in 2014.
