Thoroughly enjoyable listening to his insight on his quiver. The great man gives away so many top shelf tips on surfing as well as board design if you listen closely.

Yeah I'm fairly certain it's me. I've contacted him for a higher res version to check.
Either way, I'm sure I wasn't alone, as that joint has a way of quickly putting you out of position then dealing out a beating.

That's such a gnarly shot. Definitely had my most frightening moments in the surf out there when the horizon disappears. But that's seriously winding the clock back for me, don't think I would have made it too far out of the carpark at that size these days. Good effort to get amongst it!
