"AFL"
Bugger! Love how the victorian commentators are champing at the bit to go after any errors or faults in Harley Reids game. I bet they wouldn't be so scathing of his 'faults' if he was wearing a number 35 black and white jumper. Fucken kooks.
Eagles were the better team. Umpires got involved.
The same old umpire backed pies won.
What a joke.
Just tidying up round the outside ...next up is this Slip'n'Slide
So tbb is sharing wotz making news...
This season Sat' live boycott > Slip'n'Slide (Again) > Cranky Coaches...
The Concerts / Heavy rain cop the blame but...
Those that suss out the Sun Angle < > Shade Peak Season are onto something.
tbb thought the same...so that's how this Slip'n'Slide review came about...
Google Earth > Big Stadiums
MCG / Gabba ban any Date Stamp -Security Risk...( Fuck off Ok!)
But tbb can vouch MCG is Ok to an extent (Main Stand is slightly better positioned...Just!)
Not sure on Gabba...It's getting a redo or Wipe Out anyway...
But *Perth / *Sydney x 2 + Adelaide / Goldie can be checked...
Adelaide / Goldie Main Stands are likewise smaller & better positioned by accident
Goldie may have some issues on East Wing for short periods ( Not checked this Yet!)
These bigger *Grounds are Slip'n'Slide heaven...year after year each footy season.
Here's Why...
* Big Main Stands (N/E) Increasingly Block 35% Autumn Sunlight > then 60% Winter Sunlight
Here's the reasonably similar [Stadium Footy Season Sun Dials] for Optus / Allianz / SCG
* W< N < E Shade : Mar-April 15>25% May-June 30>45% > July 50>60% > Aug 35%>20%
Off Season delivers months of Peak Grass Growing Sunshine (But no Footy...All arse about)
Shade : Sept - Oct 15%>10% Nov 5% Dec-Jan 0>5% Feb 10%
Pretty much these Stadiums never checked for Winter Footy Season (Sunlight Compliance)
Never ever grow any grass of any Strain in Peak Winter Shade > (All keep quiet on Failure!)
Just Imagine the Money they Blow on Experts to mop up their own hot mess...
Tell the PM it's Fucked > He has to bankroll the Shit Show for ever & ever just to grow one pea!
Least energy efficient > Climate Disaster Stadiums that fight against their own Raison D'etre.
Govts likely blow 60-80% Energy / Resource Waste running these grounds into the ground.
eg : MCG / Sydney Olympic International Athletic Track'n'Field Must have a Legacy
Both over build stadiums that neither can ever dream of running a 400m track meet ever again!
Massive Stadiums got so greedy they can't run a local little Athletics 400m lap!
See wot tbb is saying...it's all about TV / Betting Set-Up, fuck the poor Quality of Footy & injuries!
All Oz stadiums are either fuckin' useless for International Footy / Athletics (None give a shit)
Just Betting Arenas for TV Footy rights...very little to do with Footy or Sport.
If crew wanna see the companion Perth Stand Sun Dial Shadow review from 1 year ago...
tbb can bring that up...(This is how tbb knew...by searching & finding a back link...all checks out!)
(Quality Tech Vid) > Shows the Player's Slip area + Stadium Sun Dial...tbb is happy to share...
Blog never really engaged many but swellnet crew know this seasonal talk is precious to a few!
https://www.reddit.com/r/AFL/comments/1e9af6d/visualisation_of_why_play…
Good thing with the blog is one punter Questions seasonal Sun but only with here-say...
Tries to convince himself that most have permanent Winter shadows (Nope!)
Comment does enlighten the Sun factor / Player Comfort (Were Sportsmen ever considered?)
That sounds romantic...but doubt if Big Corps had them in mind...(Maybe a gentlemen's request?)
As tbb shares...all these similar aligned N/E Shaded Sun Temples are #1#2#3 Slip'n'Slides.
Hard to argue against Sun Dial < > Big Stand Shading more as season peaks = Slip'n'slide grass.
Like wot fuckin' idiot Govts design the Biggest cost Arenas without Prime Seasonal compliance.
The equivalent of building all yer Bus Stops on right hand side of the road...Wot! Still Good! Huh!
Speaks volumes don't it...reckon most or even all the crew already knew this...
Being surfers...ya just knew these office knobs are least able to design Sun friendly Temples!
Throwing Big Bucks down the drain to feed Massive Elephants that eat ya outta of yer City!
Complete Fuck Ups that blow out costs...blind to the world with zero eco cred...Bloody Idiots!
Pretty sure since Paris ...these new stadiums have gotta comply with Climate offset Targets.
Also think that Perth design was a recycled oldschool Euro Plan...so maybe the next ones! We'll see!
Rolling out tenfold Pro Chix with ACL tears > Lifelong Premium Pensioned Motherhood Payouts.
Like that's never gonna happen to every single $Gazillion Matilda either...is it...(Cough!)

Nice one. Flying like a little raven.
As entertaining as Capper has been, his self obsession would be up there with Trump.
Now that his sexploits are over, porno vids, clubs and drugs done and gone bust I reckon he's sniffing around for the ol' "head injuries" compo from AFL.
Take him off!!!
The Wizz’s foray into celebrity boxing bouts probably didn’t help with his current head trauma.
Can’t enjoy seeing the decline of someone like Capper but it must be noted that self indulgence has its consequences. He’s just be banned by the AFL for 5 years over inappropriate behaviour. The MCG Have also put him on the blacklist.
On more present matters, while I do enjoy seeing the Blue Baggers get rolled, they are getting a rough run from the men in yellow tonight. Some very ordinary umpiring.
It wasn't on free to air but I have just watched one of the biggest turn arounds ever in the Giants Swans game. From 6 goals down it was 12 goals 8 to 1 goal 2 in the second half. Giants are flexing. Dogs destroyed the bombers
That’s a shame. Can’t stand that grub Toby Green. Just reading he elbowed a Swan in the head while he was down on the ground.
Suns have only ever won one Qclash. Lacklustre Lions better pull their socks up if they want that to stay the same.

Suns are burning brightly after their overcast effort last week. Playing with more spirit at present.
Btw Toby Green's effort was a bit grubby but not done with any real venom. He hit Heeney who is his business partner and mate. A fine at most. Green's comment about Papley at half time was gold.
I liked the comment at half time.
Hitting his mate makes it worse in my opinion. I didn’t know that.
He’s fronted the tribunal more than anyone and has the highest fines.
He’s worse than that grub Tom Lynch.

Haha, he's been given a week. Talking of grubs, how did Zorko go?
A week? Typical. Just shows it’s as staged as WSL especially at the pointy end of the season.
What’s Zorko been up to?
Collywobbles so far.
Old mate Lions 2 goals to start his big guys league after 5 years in the VFL
edit Henry Smith is his name. Happy for him
It's a good game seeds. Your two young forwards, Morris and Smith, are playing up a treat.
They are good
It’s looking good now
Been lots of swearing out loud here
All over rover
Bloody good win against the Pies at the G at this stage of the season

The swearing out loud goes without saying, a good win coming up.
After last week and the pathetic loss
So good to beat the Pies like this in August considering the ladder
Felt like an important "statement" game like Adelaide against Hawthorn last night. Flipping the bird to the birds .
Definitely
Keeping it interesting
ps the Crows have hit the top of the ladder on percentage

Oh yeah
They had been looking so good all year too
I watched this years ago , was good for a laugh back then . https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0374362/. https://apt.org.au/product/and-the-big-men-fly-4/
Season starting this week so we need a thread to document Collingwood's run to its it's 17th premiership and the year Nick Daico's wins his first of four brownlow medal's.
