I know people who played gigs with them when Jeremy had an episode. Hard times for him and them. Good to see them gigging again every now and then.
These guys were pretty good too, bit more US than Oz but based in Sydney.

Lovin it. Haven't heard the Sunnyboys in ages ,
A mate who lives opposite a beach carpark had the Psychos blaring when the crowds started to leave today. He turned this one right up when some knob, in a black RAM who parked half way across his driveway for several hours, came back to collect his tonka 'truck'..

Haha. Classic!!! And definitely one of Oz's finest bands. First time i heard them was on an old Rusty vid, R.Rated, to footage of Pipe. Fuck, it might have even been one of the old HIC pros.

Yeah they go off live. I took my wife and daughter to New York to see them a couple of years ago, and it was excellent. They love the Aussie sound over there. Cheers

And last night I drove to Brisbane to watch Tropical Fuck Storm, who were unreal.
Lotta driving though for one gig, won't be doing that again. I ain't twenty two any more.

Atmosphere was about the same (i.e. unreal), most people wearing masks if they didn't have a drink, but didn't seem to matter.
Had forgotton how wonderful a good wall o' noise sounded, when played by the right band.

Alright, time for some discussion on what yr all listening too. My iTunes inventory is getting a little stale so I'm up for some inspiration.
Currently loving The Drones' album "Havilah".. incredible songwriting and some of the best recorded guitars and drum I've heard in a long time. I'm a little late to the party with this album but it's on high rotation at the moment and will probably stay there a while. I've seen these guys live once (Fowlers, Adelaide) and fortunately they're incredible on stage too. Can't wait to see them again.
