Me too. Today’s in particular. Something to dream about from a locked down Melbourne.
I really loved Sunday's WOTD - 'frozen in time'. Then checked out Marcus' website and, some really cool stuff there, and bringing back great memories of the landscape and people from my short time in that part of the world. Love your work Marcus.

Goes to show how normalised the brutality of slab riding is getting when an amazing photo like that is a bit of a throwaway digital shot instead of a massive poster on the walls of every surfer’s bedroom as it would have been had the photo been taken 40 years ago.
Shout out to Noah Hassett with his shot at the same spot a few days ago. I met the Hassett family in West Sumbawa a few years ago when Noah was just a grommet. Good people and looks like Noah has become a fine and committed surfer . Power to him. Go the young guns !

Yep I tried to refrain from making another comment on Margo, but fuck it what ever he's doing there is all power. The wall on the Shippies beast is solid green vertical glass, it'd be good to know if he got through.
I reckon today's one is deceiving. Looks like he has no speed, but look where his board trail ends - he's just air dropped about 10 feet. He's possibly flying along, photo just caught him as he's hit the flats.

I didn’t rate the shot as high after assuming it was a tow-in from the track of his wake.
We need to invent an onomatopoeic word to describe Margo’s ridiculously destructive lip assault.

I couldn't let the day end without belatedly mentioning Ollie Brennan's shot today and pondering the absolute arse kicking that unidentified charger is about to go through.

You're onto me Shorey. If I know I'm leaving real early I'll program it the night before, but if I'm up at the regular time I'll wait and see if anything's come in overnight.

In one photo you've encompassed everything nice about surfing. If I was a wanker I'd say that it was perfect except for the fact he is in a wetsuit. Which it is , it's perfect .....except for the fact he's in a wetsuit.
