Great angle from PJ today, reminded me of some horror rock offs I have seen there in the 80's no doubt many more since then.
I once did that rock off , last step was on a barnacle that took a small core out of my big toe. No turning back as you need to get out quick. Knew it wasn’t good so paddled round for one in, caught one and struggled to keep upright, paddled in, 15 minute session

for a sec I thought Craig had snuck into covidtoria, snuck through the ring of steel, out of it again, and got a pic somewhere local, then escaped through the ring of steel and back to the land of keno, meat tray raffles and stop-start rugby again. But maybe it is somewhere else.

VCJ, that link just linked me to another vid of Joel and Kye surfing J-Bay. There's a voiceover where Kye refers to the old man as "TF". That tickled my funny bone.
Yep, it goes beyond the family into legend reference! Kye was really helpful when we were trying to source an original fin for a survivor HB wing swallow we have. Those clips they post via HB/Raisedbywolves show some really nice, fast, flowing surfing, with modern interpretations of the Rainbow boards. Still relevant and pleasing to watch. And fast.
Good one to dream about. Looks like it's racing down the line quickly.
