Enjoyed that Sunset article. It's a beautiful wave.
Took me back to the mid 90s when I spent a lot of time in Cape Town, surfing around Kommetjie (NOT Sunset) with Pierre de Villiers, Micky Duffus etc. It's a special part of the world, and I would have loved to have been a better surfer at the time, but was pretty green.

I lived in Jersey in Channel Islands for a bit in mid 90's, the British/ Irish crew are generally great blokes, own unique surfing culture but still very relatable.
I spent a fair bit of time at Lakey in early 90's with a guy named Andy Hill from Bundoran. He used to tell me the Bundoran Peak was similar to Lakeys, never really believed him. Regret not going to Ireland when was over that way....
or learned how to NOT edit a surf video like a 14 year-old school girl?
I would love the balos to just drop in on him every wave no matter where he was until he gave up.
