Whenever I picture myself paddling out to surf Teahupoo this clip is what I see.
Think that gets wave of the day , waiting 9 hours shows the dedication these guys have .
Udo, there’s some shocking footage of people sitting on / clinging to the wheel bays of C-17s as they are taxiing… then more footage when the planes are at about 1000ft after takeoff with bodies falling away from the planes. Tragic.

The World Surf League (WSL) today announces the cancellation of the Tahiti Pro, following the French Government's declared state of emergency for French Polynesia due to COVID-19 and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) moving French Polynesia into a Level 4 zone and advising people not to travel.
Yet on 15th Aug, Nate Florence is posting video's from Tahiti......
